Canning, follow the recommendations for storage on the label as

Can dry in a plastic container with a lid seal, which are stored in the break

or you can use one of these "bags fill" space for those who are full, then all the air out of it, it keeps food fresh for ever!

Tocopherols only hold food for 1 years .. but they are safer than BHT and BHA ...
